20 Aug Cross Keys Shopping Centre Site Supervisor Barry King exhibiting his famous matchstick model of Salisbury Cathedral in The Guildhall
Cross Keys Site Supervisor Barry King, as featured recently in the Daily Mail, is exhibiting his matchstick model of Salisbury Cathedral in The Guildhall opposite Cross Keys Arcade. The model will be on display weekdays from Monday 19 August until Thursday 29 August (9am-5pm). It is free to view but all donations raised will be in aid of Stars Appeal – Salisbury District Hospital’s Charity.
The matchstick model includes some 800,000 matchsticks in the model and the result of 400-500 hours of work.
Cross Keys Arcade is situated in the heart of Salisbury, opposite the Guildhall Square. Retaining its original Jacobean staircase Cross Keys Arcade was established over 25 years ago. The shopping centre includes a combination of leading UK brands and local independent retailers including A Plan Insurance, Blinkers Hair Salon, Cool! Merchandise, Eden Hair of Salisbury, Eurochange, Gallery 21 Fine Art, Games Workshop, Richmond Classics, Ryman, Salisbury Reds, T K Maxx, Vinyl Collectors and Sellers and Well Natural.
There are also some great places to eat and catchup with friends at Cross Keys Restaurant, Subway and Wildwood.
